We work out of the building that used to burn coal.

The Power House was built in 1920 to light North Katoomba, Medlow Bath and Blackheath. Three steam generators, fed by coal from the mine where the Scenic Railway runs today. It has been ours since 2012.

Three ways to run a house.

Grid connect

Panels, an SMA inverter and consumption monitoring through the Sunny Portal, so you can see what you make, what you send back and what you actually use.

Grid connect solar array on a Leura roof

Hybrid and battery

BYD batteries you expand 4kWh at a time, sized off your real usage data rather than a guess. Fronius GEN24 hybrids where the design needs it.

Off grid

The SMA Sunny Island is a true off grid inverter, single or three phase. Every system we build is battery ready, so cutting the cord later is a phone call, not a rebuild.

Solar panels under snow in the Blue Mountains

Designed for a roof that gets snow on it, then forty degrees in February.

They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. The installation was prompt, tidy and professional. The after sales service has been excellent.
